The annual Do Division Street Fest & Sidewalk Sale rings in Summer Fest Season for an 8th consecutive year Friday, May 31st through Sunday, June 2nd. The signature West Town event combines all the best elements of a great Chicago street fest: a rousing live music bill, local independent retailers and artisans, and exciting family fun. The 2014 Fest also features a 'Do Fashion' area - helping give the attendees a taste of what makes Division Street one of the hottest retail, entertainment and cultural corridors in the Midwest!

Where Is What?

Street Fest: Division Street from Damen to Leavitt

Family Fun Fest: Hoyne from Crystal to Potomac, and Crystal from Hoyne to Damen

Do Fashion Fest: Hoyne from Division to Crystal

Sidewalk Sale: Division Street from Damen to Ashland (no street closure)

The Music
The music at Do Division Street Fest features original bands - from cutting edge to national touring acts - and djs continuously on two stages from Friday to Sunday. Music critics and fans alike typically rate the lineup among the best of the music fest season - and it only cost a fraction of the ticket price as most of the others (a $5 suggested donation is asked for admittance).  The two live music main stages are programmed by Empty Bottle Presents and Subterranean. The Sidewalk Sale

Division Street between Ashland and Leavitt is packed with salons, spas, cafes, bakeries and boutiques in addition to droves of popular restaurants that can satisfy any craving. Throughout the weekend, many of the local merchants participate in an elaborate sidewalk sale outside their shops that spans east of the street fest - from Damen to Ashland - offering great deals on everything from local designer garments to fine hand-made jewelry.

Do Fashion

After its overwhelming success in its inaugural year in 2013, Do Fashion returns for three days dedicated to the latest styles from the Do Division corridor. Do Fashion will take place Friday through Sunday on Hoyne Street from Division to Crystal, and will feature a who's who of Division Street designer pop-up shops and merchandise. The highlight here will be the Do-Fashion Runway Shows -happening frequently throughout the weekend - showcasing the hottest kids, teen and adult seasonal looks exclusively from the Do Division corridor.

This year, Do Fashion features looks by Mad Style, Maash, Takataka Hills, Prin By Prina Bagia, Psychobaby, M.Go Fashion Company, Sin Charity Clothing & The Pattern Maker 14. On Sunday at 2 pm, there will be a Kid's Rock! & Teen's In Style fashion segment featuring Smash Talent. Also, the highlight of all three days will be the nightly Wicker Park After Dark events at Do-Fashion - three nights of star-studded, red-carpet fashion shows under the lights hosted by Natalie Martinez of NBC 5 Chicago. Featured designers include Marquin Salon, Sorelle Salon and Dynamic Salon.

The Fine Print
There will be a $5 donation requested for admittance to Do-Division that will benefit the West Town Chicago Chamber of Commerce 29%, Division Street Committee 50%, and three local elementary schools: LaSalle II 9%, Pritzker 9%, and Talcott Fine Art and Museum Academy 3%.
